Russia’s United Aircraft Corp. (UAC) appointed former head of United Engine Corp. Vladislav Masalov as VP-civil aviation. UAC Yury Slusar said at the MAKS Air Show that the corporation is changing its strategy and structure and Masalov would head the renewed civil aviation division. The new VP position was officially established at the UAC directors’ board meeting on Sept. 23. From 2012-2015, Masalov was general director of United Engine Corp.
