FLY Leasing purchased four new aircraft, including a new Boeing 787 and a new 737 MAX 8, its first of the type. The 787 is on a 12-year lease to a European airline and the 737 MAX 8 is on a 12-year lease to an Asian carrier. FLY also acquired a new Boeing 737-800 on a 10-year lease to a flag carrier in Europe and a new Airbus A320-200 on a 12-year lease to an airline in Asia.

AviaAM Leasing delivered an Airbus A321 to Russia’s Aeroflot.

BOC Aviation signed 22 lease agreements in 2Q17 vs nine in 2Q16, and now has owned/managed portfolio of 297 aircraft (plus commitments to acquire 196) up from 265 a year ago.

Kunming, China-based Lucky Air agreed to lease four Boeing 737 MAX 8s from SMBC Aviation Capital from 2018-2019.

Air Lease Corp. delivered eight new and six used aircraft in 2Q17 and sold 17 aircraft. It ended quarter with 240 owned aircraft and 48 managed aircraft.

Avmax Aircraft Leasing has recently leased its third Dash 8-103 (msn 537) to Fly Viking AS, Norway. The aircraft was formerly operated by Amakusa Airlines, Japan.
