Low-cost carrier (LCC) Air Arabia has posted a sharply improved second-quarter performance, which exceeded analysts’ expectations. The Sharjah-based carrier reported a second-quarter net profit of AED173 million ($47 million), more than doubled compared with a net profit of AED76 million in the year-ago quarter.
