United Airlines signed a firm order for 25 Embraer E175 jets in a 70-seat configuration. The contract, announced July 16 on the opening day of Farnborough, is valued at $1.1 billion at list prices, and will be included in Embraer's 2018 third-quarter backlog. Deliveries will begin in the second quarter of 2019, Embraer said. United Express, which operates United’s regional network, has almost 400 Embraer E-Jets and ERJs.
