London Heathrow Airport handled a record 38.1 million passengers over the first six months of 2018, delivering a £232 million ($304.4 million) net profit. For the period to June 30, a 2.5% increase in passenger numbers and 2.2% cargo growth pushed Heathrow’s revenue up 2.3% to £1.4 billion. Operating costs rose 4.9% to £914 million.
