Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and Macau International Airport (MIA) both announced record passenger numbers in the month of July, breaking records set last year. HKIA saw 6.7 million passengers pass through its terminals in July this year, up 2.2% year-on-year (YOY). HKIA said the growth was because of Hong Kong resident travel, which saw an 8% YOY increase.
