Austria-based airberlin subsidiary FlyNiki has dropped plans to establish a base in the Slovakian capital of Bratislava, the airline has confirmed to ATW. Oneworld alliance affiliate FlyNiki—which had planned to launch double-daily services to Brussels, daily flights to Vienna, as well as several frequencies to Palma de Mallorca from Bratislava this summer—has deferred the launch to October.
