LATAM Airlines will launch 4X-weekly nonstop launch Santiago-Quito (Ecuador) Airbus A320neo service from April 1, 2019.

United Airlines began 3X-weekly San Francisco-Pape’ete Tahiti Boeing 787 seasonal service, which will begin year-round from March 30, 2019.

Ethiopian Airlines will re-route its 3X-weekly Addis Ababa-Dublin-Los Angeles (LAX) ultra-long-haul service to transit through Lome (Togo) from Dec. 17. Ethiopian will also introduce a 3X-weekly Addis Ababa-Madrid Barajas (Spain)-Dublin (Ireland) service, from Dec. 15; and launch 3X-weekly Addis Ababa-Istanbul Atatürk (Turkey)-Moscow Domodedovo (Russia) from Dec. 1. All flights will use Boeing 787-8s.

Russia’s S7 Airlines will launch 3X-weekly St. Petersburg-Sochi A319 service from Dec. 24. The carrier starts weekly Irkutsk-Phuket (Thailand) flights from Dec. 30.

Aeroflot low-cost subsidiary Pobeda Airline will begin 4X-weekly Moscow Vnukovo-Petrozavodsk Boeing 737-800 service from Dec. 7.

Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines joint venture SunExpress will begin weekly Izmir (Turkey)-St. Petersburg Boeing 737-800 service from May 30, 2019.

Damascus-based Cham Wings Airlines began weekly Damascus (Syria)-Moscow Sheremetyevo Airbus A320 flights.

Russia’s Azimuth Airline started 2X-weekly Rostov-on-Don-Tyumen and Nizhny Novgorod-Perm Sukhoi Superjet 100 service.

Ural Airlines started weekly Sochi-Osh (Kyrgyzstan) Airbus A320 family service.
