El Al Israel Airlines has finalized an order for two additional Boeing 737-900ERs, bringing the total number of orders for the type to eight. The Israeli flag carrier took delivery of its first 737-900ER Oct. 9. Boeing Commercial Airplanes VP-sales for Europe Todd Nelp said the aircraft “will fit seamlessly into its [El Al’s] short- and medium-haul fleet, providing greater flexibility for the carrier’s operations across Europe.”
