Kuwaiti lessor ALAFCO announced a commitment for 20 Boeing 737 MAX 8, the first sale of the type into the Middle East. At list price, the order is worth $1.9 billion. Delivery dates have yet to be agreed. "We're excited about the aircraft's performance, its aerodynamics and, above all, its economics," ALAFCO chairman and CEO Ahmad Alzabin said.
